Linda Walter, LCSW has been a practicing clinician for over 25 years and is licensed and certified in the State of New York. She sees clients and supervises other therapists in both Westchester and Manhattan, New York.

Ms. Walter sees individuals, couples, families and groups in her practice. She describes herself as a short term therapist. “I believe it is important to concentrate on the healthy parts of the individual in order to strengthen those skills which will help alleviate their pain or problem.” She has specialized training in Rapid Resolution Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Hypnotherapy and incorporates these modalities in treatment as needed.

Although she sees a broad range of people, many of whom are going through transitional phases in their lives and may be suffering from depression, she is well known for her work with anxiety and stress related difficulties. She uses Hypnotherapy to help people with their fears, stop smoking, lose weight, decrease stress, manage chronic pain and many other issues.

She has been featured in broadcast and print, and has taught a variety of mental health and psychotherapy topics.
