When we're at our best we can take on new challenges with enthusiasm rather than fear. Bruce Lee said, "You must be shapeless, formless, like water. When you pour water in a cup, it becomes the cup. Counseling is one way you can improve you're ability to face challenges or "be like water..." There is no one size fits all style of therapy. Even throughout the course of multiple sessions there may be a need to change direction, which is why I provide multiple options such as: psychoeducation, cognitive behavior therapy (CBT), solution-focused brief therapy, schema therapy, brainspotting, and dialectic behavioral therapy (DBT).
It's not uncommon that no matter how hard we work we find ourselves stuck. Sometimes having an objective point of view can assist us in getting on the path we've longed for.
