I specialize in treating anxiety, trauma, grief/loss, and adolescent adjustment. I have experience working with behavioral problems, anger management, relationship conflict, and depression. As a part of my experience, I completed specialized training in complex trauma and multicultural competency on an international internship trip. My clinical experience includes working in various mental health settings with children, adolescents, and adults through individual and family therapy. My internship training was further focused on speciality treating mood and eating disorders for teenagers and young adults.
I utilize a person-centered and holistic approach and strive to meet my clients where they are and allow them to feel heard while focusing on the therapeutic relationship. I believe that my clients are full of potential and have the ability to achieve the goals they set for themselves and use evidence-based techniques to help them realize that potential.
My approach is based in cognitive-behavioral, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, narrative, and solution-focused therapies. I utilize creative strategies including art and expressive writing when appropriate. I aim to provide you with a safe place to heal and grow. My role is not to provide advice, rather to empower you to make choices to help you grow.
