Donna Fish is a licensed clinical social worker, a reimbursable psychotherapist (LCSW-R). The specialties of her NYC private practice include eating disorders, anxiety, depression, trauma, and family and couples work. A recognized expert in various competencies, she has been an adjunct professor at Columbia University School of Social Work, and has lectured at Harvard Medical School, New York University School of Social Work, Georgetown University, Wellesley College, and Mount Sinai Hospital, among other institutions. Her work has been featured on National Public Radio, Weekend Today and MSNBC and in, among other publications, USA Today, Parenting and In Touch Weekly. She is the author of the book "Take the Fight out of Food: How to Prevent and Solve Your Child’s Eating Problems. " Ms. Fish received her undergraduate degree summa cum laude from McGill University in Montreal and her graduate degree with honors from Columbia University School of Social Work. Her Post Graduate Training includes certification in EMDR, Eating Disorders, and CBT-TEAM Therapy. A former dancer, she has served as a consultant to the School of American Ballet and The Julliard School.
