My name is Vanessa, and I am a Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registered Highly Specialised Clinical Psychologist, having qualified in 2020 from the University of Sheffield. I have worked with people with mental health difficulties since 2009 and have had many roles, with my current role, working with young people in the community.
My broad clinical experience enables me to work effectively with adults and young people. I tailor my therapy style to match your needs and we would work together on your goal and helping you to achieve your target. I have worked with a variety of diagnoses specialising in emotional regulation difficulties, hearing voices, trauma, and anxiety.
I've completed various training courses to work with a variety of difficulties and I use my eclectic mix of therapy skills, including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Analytic informed Therapy (CAT), flash technique (trauma), and other person-centred approaches.
