Do you need help working through challenges in your life, like health, work, parenting, relationship issues, or trauma? Struggling with the emotional impact of dealing with physical health problems and invisible illness? Need some time and space to explore current or past trauma? I am an empathic, warm, experienced counsellor. I offer a safe, understanding space without judgement, where we look at what is going on for you and what positive changes you want to make. I work in a person centred way, which means we work at your pace on the issues you want to bring.
I won't tell you what to do because I consider you to be the expert on yourself, but I will help you to work out the right strategies for you. I qualified as a counsellor in 2007. I worked with young people at The Market Place in Leeds for 9 years and also as a mental health advocate for 7 years, helping get people's voices heard in challenging situations.
I previously worked in issue based theatre around mental health and homelessness. I am available 10.30-14.30 on weekdays. I work in person, online or by phone.
