Creating a safe space for you to tell your story and then learn and begin to apply coping skills are the first steps toward releasing and healing your pain. My ideal client is also ready to explore how they can unwind ineffective thought processes in order to find a new and healthy mindset that allows for the possibility of peace and happiness.
I specialize in treating anxiety, depression, women's issues, and trauma. I work with clients to develop a tool box of sorts with many effective forms of distress tolerance skills that can be implemented in a variety of situations. Working with the nervous system in order to soothe our mind/body is a core aspect of treatment.
