I am trained in EMDR and use it frequently in the treatment of distressing symptoms for both teens and adults.
My work with trauma, crisis, and substance use began in juvenile probation settings and it has continued into public schools and residential treatment. I have treated and worked with teenagers / young adults in crisis and their families for 8 years, as well as experience working at domestic violence shelters.
Using evidence-based techniques, knowledge of neuroscience, and frequent humor and sarcasm, I provide a bold, warm, and no-fluff approach to therapy.
