I want to be open and safe. I believe that therapy is a collaboration between two people trying to live better lives. I love to hear your stories. They inspire me. I'm amazed at the strength and survival skills of my clients. I believe that therapy should be a good experience for both of us, but sometimes reality means we'll first have to revisit the pain in order to heal. Hopefully we can to that together from a safe and secure place.
I feel my job is to help you with insight and process. Insight (awareness) can be just another perspective or connecting the dots of experience. Process is unique to you but involves ways to change that ideally involve your strengths and interests. I have experience with trauma, depression, anxiety, OCD, grief, and loneliness.
