What are you looking for in therapy? The most common goal of clients is to 'develop coping skills.' We have been repeatedly told diet, exercise, meditation, and adequate sleep can all improve our mood, but why aren't we doing it. Through processing painful experiences and emotions, I have seen clients improve their overall well-being and finally live the life they want.
Often by the time we try to implement our coping skills, we are already so overwhelmed that they aren't very effective. My goal is for my clients to frequently experience well-being so that the coping skills that they do have, actually work.
