I am completing my academic and practical training in marriage and family therapy. I am a graduate student intern at Counseling4Life, LLC. I am pursuing a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy at Capella University, with an expected graduation date of September 2024. I am passionate about working with adolescents, families, and individuals, particularly those facing challenges related to LGBTQ health, trauma, addiction, social exclusion, and economic hardship.
I practice collaborative, emotionally focused, narrative, intergenerational, and attachment-based therapies, tailoring each approach to meet my client's unique needs and goals. I am dedicated to continuous learning and enhancing my competencies to provide effective and compassionate care.
I recently attended an Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy Externship with an LGBTQ+ focus and am finishing my consultations for EMDR training. I chose these two trainings to better work with trauma as it presents in Families and Couples.
