While well versed and experience in traditional interventions and therapeutic styles, such as CBT and DBT, Nicole's approach to therapy is collaborative and holistic. She includes mythology, spirituality and other non-traditional interventions in her treatment planning, particularly working to include a client’s cultural background into their care. Nicole’s guiding principle in therapy and wellness is authenticity. This is true in how she presents herself to clients and in encouraging clients to embrace their most genuine selves.
I have experience working with veterans and active-duty service members dealing with issues from military sexual trauma, combat trauma, and integration back into civilian society. I enjoy working with high functioning neurodivergent adults, such as those with ADHD or ASD. As a member of the LGBTQIA+ community, I provide therapy related to connected issues.
