I am now accepting new clients! I specialize in treating adults and children (6-16) with anxiety, depression and behavioral or school difficulties. You and they will find relief and healing in the calm, centered mindfulness of Art Therapy, because I believe in working as closely with parents struggling with their children’s issues as I would with the children themselves. The inner self has its own innate ability to heal, given the right environment to do so: Art Therapy can provide a personal, creative, strength-based, psychologically healing experience that is beneficial for all!
In an Art Therapy session, clients use art media (paints, clay, pastels, markers) in the creative process and their resulting artwork to explore their feelings, foster creativity and self-awareness, manage behavior, develop social skills, improve reality orientation, reduce anxiety and increase self-esteem. No prior artistic experience is necessary.
