All of us will encounter times in our life when we need help; there's no need to wait for crisis to do that. Perhaps you feel disconnected from your passions, your family, or your community, overwhelmed with emotions and life transitions, or stuck in cycles of uncomfortable and intrusive thinking patterns. Or, maybe the stress of it “all” is just getting to you! No matter what the issue is, I’m glad you’re here! Taking that first step is often the hardest, and it would be an honor for me to support you in this journey of change and rejuvenation, as I have years of experience working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families.
I promote growth and change through taking the mystery out of why we feel what we feel, and do what we do, by utilizing a base framework of neurocounseling and body-brain psychoeducation. Clients discover patterns present across the dimensions of their lives, altering the patterns they find ineffective/negative, using tools and knowledge acquired in therapy.
Clients describe therapy with me as collaborative, creative, and informative, with a touch of fun. I invite lightness and humor into the room, if appropriate, and tailor treatment to clients' specific needs.
