My name is Melissa Ray, LCSW. I am a licensed clinical social worker. I love helping others using a gentle and non-judgemental approach. I am clinically trained to treat trauma in children. I also treat anxiety, depression, ADHD, and more. I use a variety of therapeutic modalities, including TF-CBT (trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy). With parental participation, I enjoy working with kids as young as 2. I work with kids and adults of any age.
I specialize in treating children who have experienced trauma and children suffering from anxiety. I am certified in cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) as well as trauma-focused CBT (TF-CBT). I am also trained in treating children with selective mutism as well as social anxiety.
Children and teens can often struggle with big feelings related to anxiety, and depression. I can help them work through these things to be the happiest version of themselves. I am also happy to work with adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, and various other mental health concerns.
