Life can be hard sometimes, leaving us with bumps, bruises, and wounds that are difficult to heal on our own. Therapy is a space where you can better understand yourself so that you can heal and find a different and more meaningful way of being in the world. In the context of a safe and empathic therapeutic relationship, you are able to listen better to yourself, understand your emotional pain, and see the ways that it has impacted your life. It is through this process that the work of therapy can be both hard but ultimately rewarding.
My work is integrative, which means I pay attention to the dynamics in the session as well as the issues and experiences you bring into the room. I have worked with adults of all ages, and people with a range of racial and gender identities and sexual orientations. I have years of clinical experience focused on helping people heal from trauma and stress.
My approach varies depending on your concerns and your goals. Through collaborative discussion, we will determine how to best work together. Because the fit between you and your therapist is essential to therapeutic success, I am happy to offer a complimentary 20-minute phone session to understand your needs and talk about your options.
