I'm glad you're here. Making the decision to begin therapy takes courage to ask for the help you need. I am passionate about my work with clients and find great meaning and value in being part of this chapter of your life. I primarily have experience working with anxiety, and depression, as well as relational, acute, and childhood traumas. I have specialized training in the integration of spirituality and psychological concerns including crisis of faith and/or navigating sexuality.
As an integrative, psychodynamic psychologist, I approach each person as a unique individual and I view our work together as one that is collaborative. As such, my clients often come away feeling empowered and with greater clarity into the psychological and relational patterns that maintain and recreate painful experiences.
Therapy can help provide insight into stressful, confusing, and painful aspects of your life. It can be overwhelming to sort through and make sense out of your emotions, pain, and history. You don't have to do this difficult work alone. By offering a confidential, safe, and non-judgmental environment, we can work towards healing and healthier patterns.

I find that shame and negative self-talk is often at the core of prolonged distress. As part of our therapy, I incorporate self-compassion work to build self-esteem, confidence, and success. As Carl Rogers pointed out- when we accept ourselves just as we are, then we can change. By taking a look into who you truly are and what has happened to you, we can move towards meaningful growth.

I try to meet my clients where they are and incorporate techniques based on their unique needs. I typically pull from humanistic and person-centered theories as my basic philosophy while pulling from many Object Relations and Relational Psychodynamic techniques in order to get at the root cause and patterns that maintain many emotional, psychological, and social issues.
