I specialize in working with teens and adolescents struggling with anger, adjustment difficulties, defiance, emotional instability, anxiety, and depression. I often focus on being responsible, understanding of making good choices, learning how to manage stress, developing healthy relationships, and charting a path forward. I create a safe space for adolescents and teens by initially working to develop a solid relationship built on trust and sincerity. I offer individual sessions.
Over the past 6 years, I've worked with at-risk youth, adolescents, and teens struggling with anger, depression, anxiety, social and life transitions. I subscribe to the theoretical principles of Solutions Focused Brief therapy, as well as, Motivational interviewing, and CBT therapy. More importantly, I believe in meeting each individual where they are.
