My primary approach is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which helps individuals understand the relationship between their thoughts, feelings, and actions. CBT teaches individuals to change negative patterns of thinking to more positive and helpful thoughts and is one of the most researched forms of therapy. It is evidence-based and has proven to be effective for a variety of mental health issues.
I specialize in attachment repair for adults who have developed insecurity from childhood experiences. These individuals can struggle to get their needs met in their relationships and may experience loneliness, or fear of abandonment. Treating insecure attachment can bring about resolution to unresolved grief & loss, childhood trauma, and/or complex PTSD.
I desire to create a strong therapeutic relationship with you in order to accomplish the goals you want to address in therapy. If an issue or concern were to arise during our time together, it is very important to me to make it right with you.
