It is my belief that much of our pain and suffering comes from struggles within interpersonal relationships. Because of this, therapy can be an incredibly powerful tool to experience a different kind of relationship; one that is full of compassion instead of judgment, support instead of contempt, designed to empower instead of disenfranchise. I specialize in trauma, phase of life concerns, anxiety, and depression. It is important to me that we fit as a team, and I encourage conversations that improve safety and trust within our relationship.

My goals are to provide you with a space that allows and encourages you to be your true self, to help you feel more connected to yourself and others, and to be more aware of patterns of existing that may create suffering. I want to help you become the best that you can, which may include embracing components of yourself that you prefer to push away.

Our work will likely be dynamic, changing depending on progression toward goals, changes in your life, and new insights we uncover throughout this process. I often will ask about intersecting identities, how those identities are either encouraged or discouraged based on family and societal messages, and which pieces of yourself you would like to see foster.
