Hello and welcome! If you’ve landed here, you’ve taken the first step in seeking support for yourself or a loved one, and that effort should be celebrated. The idea of sharing details about personal lives with a stranger can be scary. Many people make the choice to connect with a trained therapist and end up finding value in having an unbiased person outside of their friend/family group listen, validate, and share helpful strategies. I have been practicing as a licensed therapist since 2016 and I find great meaning in being able to partner with people as they move closer towards healing and growth.
I specialize in working with young adults, pregnant/postpartum women, and new parents. I utilize an eclectic approach and pull from training in different evidence based and person centered therapy modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), CBT for Anxiety, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, Trauma-Focused CBT, and Motivational Interviewing.
My approach is gentle yet direct, and I strive to provide an emotionally safe and comfortable space for individuals to show up and be accepted as their true authentic selves. In my free time I enjoy having fun with family and friends, running, and exploring local parks and trails.

Join Morgan Kennell, LCSW in this 6 week group where you will learn: How to use Mindfulness to stay present in parenting , skills to manage emotions, get support around what you expected this period to be like vs what it is really like, learn ways to tolerate stressful situations while having boundaries and strategies to have healthy communication with your partner!
