After 14 years of higher education in psychology, I use a variety of evidence-based methods to address a broad spectrum of challenges for adults and teens from diverse backgrounds. Some people require a more structured approach with homework and skill-based work to enact change. Others require a more fluid and exploratory approach to develop insights used to improve outcomes. We usually need a combination of both. Regardless of the course of treatment, I am active and engaged in your process and always adapt my approach to you. I am outcome focused and work diligently along side you to grow and meet your goals in a timely way.
I use evidence-based strategies and specialize in both psychodynamic and cognitive behavioral therapy. I incorporate mindfulness-based treatments (MBTs) which help you strengthen your ability to observe uncomfortable thoughts/feelings/sensations without clinging to them or avoiding them. This will allow you to get unstuck, grow, and create conscious change.
Feel free to reach out! I would be happy to listen to what you are looking for in order to assess if I can provide what you need, as well as our potential therapeutic fit. If we work together, I will ask for honest feedback throughout, in order to ensure treatment efficacy and to improve your therapy outcome :)

Social Anxiety & Other Relationship Barriers Group
Do you feel anxious or experience internal barriers to connect with others? The purpose of this group is to address these barriers in order to improve the ease at which we connect with others. Just like any muscle, only practice (at a comfortable pace) will increase our social efficacy. We will provide one another with the support needed to take social risks, share feedback to reality test our fears, and challenge any feelings of shame that we may hold about these social barriers. This group is remote until further notice
