At Mountain Valley Counseling, our philosophy is that whatever issue(s) a person presents to therapy with is generally a symptom of deeper difficulties. We want to help people beyond basic symptom reduction, which promotes more lasting and sustained change. Our treatment team specializes in trauma. We see children, preteen, teens, couples and adults. We offer group therapy. We are LGBTQ+ affirmative. Many of our staff are trained in Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP). We offer medication management services in addition to general psychotherapy services.
Psychodynamic Therapy, Object Relations, Attachment Theory, Mentalization therapy, DBT, CBT, Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, Jungian Therapy, Existential Therapy, Humanistic Therapy, EMDR, Gottman Therapy, Sex Therapy, Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy, Mind-body Bridging, Lifespan Integration, ACT etc.
Although I am currently not taking on new clients myself, I directly supervise some wonderful clinicians that are. MVC is a trauma-informed, safe place that offer supportive, evidenced-based clinical approaches to various mental health concerns. We offer medication management as well.
