A life of peace and acceptance feels impossible and the more you try to regain control, the more locked in you become. Peace is within reach. Recovery is possible. I've dedicated my career to treating eating disorders and have helped thousands of individuals recover fully. My therapy orientation is grounded in evidence-based treatments for eating disorders - "gold standard" treatments that include CBT-E (specifically for eating disorders), DBT (adaptation for ED) and Family-Based Treatment (for teens).

Primary group objective is to decrease behaviors that interfere with quality of life. We work toward decreasing and ultimately, eradicating impulsive, suicidal, and self-injurious behaviors while enhancing one's ability to cope more effectively with difficult feelings. Disordered eating behaviors are primary targets of the work. Restriction, binging, purging, and/or abuse of exercise are closely tracked and skills for changing these behaviors are reinforced so that participants may effectively work toward balanced, healthful eating and self care. The group will cover all four of the DBT modules: core mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness.
