Hello! My name is Marco Perez. I'm an associate professional clinical counselor looking to help improve the quality of life for those struggling with anxiety, PTSD, and relationship issues. My experience has also led me to help clients struggling with depression, bipolar disorder, grief, military-related issues, and difficult life transitions. Anxiety and trauma can impact our sense of safety and ability to function in day-to-day life. I hope to help clients re-establish that sense of safety within themselves and improve the symptoms affecting their day-to-day lives.
I make it a priority to create a warm, genuine, and empathetic environment for you to explore and grow in therapy. I’m flexible and will tailor my approach to your needs, using techniques from cognitive behavioral therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, solution-focused brief therapy, prolonged exposure, motivational interviewing, and mindfulness.
I see therapy as a road trip, with you in the driver’s seat and me helping you navigate from the passenger seat. There might be some potholes and road closures along the way, but we’ll work through them together to reach our destination.
