Do you feel like your past prevents you from living in the present? Are you more familiar with chaos than calm? When we experience negative life events, we become hypervigilant and on edge. Maybe this makes us lash out at our partner. Maybe it makes us feel overwhelmed by anxiety or depression. I am here to help you teach your body how to regulate yourself and your emotions. You can learn how to get out of that constant feeling that something will go wrong, and reach peace. I do so through using emotion-focused therapy and EMDR, however, these are just some of the tools in my toolkit!
I meet you where you are at right now. I have experience working with complex trauma. I can help individuals overcome and heal from anxiety, depression, grief, anger, emotional dysregulation, low self-esteem, negative self-talk, and more. I work with couples who are healing from infidelity or want to reconnect after years of neglecting their relationship.
When we struggle with our mental health, we might begin to feel like we are "too much." You are not too much in my room. Your emotions are welcome and celebrated! I have availability Tuesday and Thursday in the afternoon and evening and Friday mornings or afternoons.
