As a relational therapist, I support clients as they navigate anxiety, depression, trust and communication, and life cycle transitions. I enjoy working with folks of all cultural backgrounds, sexualities and non-traditional relationships, as they navigate different phases of life. I aim to provide a communicative, collaborative space to foster healing and growth on an interpersonal and intrapersonal level, to better align with your current values. As a queer, Asian-American woman of color, I hold space for the multiple identities in which clients identify.
I provide both in-person and online therapy, utilizing a narrative and emotionally focused approach, informed by an attachment-based and trauma-informed lens. My approach is compassionate, curious, creative, and strengths-based, and I aim to build a trusting alliance between client and therapist to create new meanings of the client's lived experiences.
I believe that therapy is a relationship in which to build communication skills, trust, and create new meanings and possibilities of the client's lived experiences. It's a place to practice new skills within a safe space. It takes courage to take that first step towards healing and change, and I will walk that path with you- whatever that may look like.
