Mackenzie Wild is a Couples Therapist practicing Emotionally Focused Therapy. Often couples disengage and become distant under the pressures of daily living and Mackenzie's specialty is working with couples who have young children, couples with combined/blended families, and couples with involved grandparents or in-laws. Through couples counseling, our work together can add breathing room and warmth so that the couple can turn toward and support each other during stress. EFT is evidence based and integrates trauma to establish new relational patterns, which improve connectedness and intimacy by changing the root.
Relationships can be alive with intimacy and curiosity. Together we will identify patterns of negative interaction and empower you to interrupt the downward spiral. There's no homework, no laying on a couch, and we'll practice this new way together in weekly sessions. EFT can structure a secure bond that results in lasting change.
Life moves at super speed and our closest, most treasured relationships can suffer from the strain. It's not too late to learn how to access and provide comfort and care through partnership.
