Grief and loss, life transitions, complex / confusing family dynamics - working through life's obstacles is not an easy task. Understanding our lives and our ways of being can be a challenging endeavor, and I value the opportunity to explore the tangled tapestry with you, and try to tease out the individual threads..
I look forward to listening to you, striving to better understand you, and helping you better understand yourself. My education and background emphasize a somatic approach, recognizing the connections between our physical experience and our psychological experience. That said, above any technique or therapeutic strategy, I value connection.
My primary goal is to hear you, to understand what you are experiencing to the best of my ability, and to help you work through it toward a happier, more fulfilling life experience. Groups
Understanding Your Grief Online Support Group
Grief can be isolating, and yet it is often best explored in community. Benediction Counseling is offering a 90-minute, 6-week online bereavement support group. We will be using the books “Understanding Your Grief” and “Understanding Your Grief Journal” by Alan Wolfelt to further understanding of and reflection on the grief process.
