I specialize in supporting late-identified or diagnosed ADHDers and autistic adults and their families. Together, we process the overwhelm, frustration, and grief often coexisting with ADHD and autism as well as celebrate the creativity, intricacy, and nuances of brain wiring differences. We often apply self-compassion, self-acceptance, self-advocacy, and interdependence skills to reduce anxiety and depression symptoms. We strive to create a more manageable lifestyle, including regulating overwhelming emotions, accommodating executive functioning barriers and communication differences, and balancing structure and flexibility.

I support my clients in creating a stronger web of support and developing a neurodivergent-affirming perspective and for this reason, I offer several small counseling and educational groups on adult ADHD and autism. Through these groups, many clients create hope and connection, self-compassion, and deeper self-acceptance.

In a small group of 6 participants, you will (1) learn to practice self-compassion skills (2) build skills for greater relief from guilt, shame, isolation, and overwhelm (3) process challenges and growth, and (4) create an ongoing community of support. This group helps participants access support, build mindfulness, self-regulation and communication skills and create community with other neurodiverse (ADHD) women who are functioning within a society build for neurotypicals. Come meet others who understand your unique strengths and challenges within relationships, employment, and daily living. Cost is $40 per session, no insurance accepted. Group limited to 8 participants. One group meets 1st and 3rd Thursday, 6:00-7:00pm via Zoom and one group meets 2nd and 4th Tuesday, 12:00-1:00pm via Zoom.
