I specialize in working with preteens, teens and adults who suffer from eating disorders and mood disorders. I work with a Cognitive Behavioral and Dialectical Behavioral Approach to help individuals accept and tolerate powerful emotions through mindfulness, acceptance, distress tolerance and emotional regulation.
In a society where expressing emotions can be difficult, therapy is where healing and growth begins. Your past experiences do not define you. Adult Body Image Group
Please join us for an in person adult body image group for 6 weeks. Group Sessions: 5/1, 5/8, 5/22. 5/29,6/5, 6/12 This small and intimate group is suitable for adults who struggle with body image and self-esteem, compare themselves to others, have anxiety related to appearance and want to work on their relationship with food due to unhealthy patterns and behaviors. We will discuss factors that contribute to body image, discuss diet culture and learn how to begin body acceptance and appreciation.
