I have been working in the mental health and social service field for over 20 years. In that time, I have had the pleasure of working with adolescents, adults, couples, and families. I am passionate about helping others in finding peace and happiness within themselves and their relationships. I take a client centered approach and come from a place of compassion in building a strong trusting client-therapist relationship. I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, mood disorders, life transitions, challenges with life stressors, work and school issues, codependency, and family/relationship issues.

More recently, I have been working with some clients who are going through major life transitions. Examples of these transitions could be going through divorce, a career change, or even a husband & wife becoming empty nesters. I really have enjoyed helping these clients learn how to successfully navigate through even the most challenging transitions.

It takes courage to come into counseling and I would be proud to work with you in meeting your counseling goals. Building a trusting and supportive therapeutic relationship does takes time but I promise I will always be honest and upfront from the start. I am a caring and genuine person by nature and I believe you feel that in our first session together.
