I focus on supporting people through life transitions including divorce, fertility, and grief/loss. I work with people who are experiencing stress, anxiety, trauma, low self-esteem, and blocked creativity. I help my clients explore their identity – who they have been, who they are now, and who they want to be. My style as a therapist is warm, compassionate, and relational. I bring creativity, humor, and depth to my sessions at Self Space and I believe honesty and empathy are the foundation for healing.

I use a variety of tools including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization Reprocessing (EMDR) which is an evidence-based therapy used to treat various forms of unprocessed trauma. I also use creativity, humor, somatic techniques, and mindfulness to support the healing process.

I believe the human spirit is resilient, resourceful, and always oriented towards healing. I view the therapeutic relationship as a creative collaboration in which we each bring our experiences and personalities to sessions. My goal is for clients to feel more connected to their own wisdom in the process of becoming more fully self-expressed.
