Clients seeking my services have typically gone through very difficult circumstances and are looking for assistance in rebuilding parts of their life. My practice is open to the full diversity of human beings: all expressions of sexuality, gender identification, personal or ethnic culture, social location, religion/spirituality, absence of religion/spirituality, or other unique framework of identity you hold.
My approach to counseling is relational and person-centered. This is the therapeutic foundation of healing. My interventions are an integration of trauma-focused care, mind-body connectivity, solution-focused, cognitive behavioral therapy and rational emotive therapy. I am trained in Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing Therapy (EMDR).
Life circumstances can leave us feeling out of control and helpless. Psychotherapy provides the space to safely challenge thoughts and feelings, develop awareness of the mind-body connection, and explore ways to thrive even in difficult times. It is a great privilege for me to join you in a challenging place in your life and journey together towards healing.
