Hi! My name is Kayla (she/her/hers) and I am currently a LMSW (Licensed Master of Social Work) in the process of completing my clinical license in the spring of 2024. My therapy approach is person-centered, holistic, strengths-based, and collaborative. I utilize a number of modalities in my work with clients such as CBT, Emotion-Focused Therapy, Solution-Focused, Creative Arts Therapy, and Somatic/Mindfulness Therapies. My goal is to create a safe and welcoming space for all individuals seeking help for their mental health.
I have experience in working with serious mental health conditions in an outpatient and inpatient behavioral health setting. My passion is working with women on different women's issues. In addition to adults I also have ample experience in working with kiddos with autism spectrum disorder and behavioral concerns as a school social worker.
Providing a safe, non-judgmental space that allows individuals to feel heard is my hope as I walk alongside those on their healing journeys. Helping you process/work through life stressors while gaining knowledge and skills. My therapeutic goal is to be that support and help you navigate life’s challenges.
