In our fast-paced world, it is easy to become anxious, depressed, angry, and/or overwhelmed. If it feels unmanageable at times, that makes sense. Our brains weren’t designed to be flooded with so much information globally and in our personal lives with minimal support. Add in additional stressors such as trauma, challenging family dynamics, or parenting, and it can feel like a pressure cooker ready to explode. However, you are not alone. Therapy is a wonderful tool to help release pressure and learn ways to manage challenging emotions so that you can be your best self.
I will work with you to help you understand the things that are holding you back and learn ways to access your unique strengths to move forward. Effective therapy integrates the mind, body, and spirit. Some techniques I use to achieve this include talk therapy, cognitive-behavioral techniques (such as DBT), creative arts, somatic exercises, and EMDR.
The therapeutic relationship between therapist and client is of the utmost importance and it is important to me that you are paired with a clinician who is best suited to fit your individualized goals. I also understand first-hand the challenges of finding a good “match.” Therefore, I gladly offer a free consultation. Call today to get started!
