There was a time in each of our lives, before hurt and fear took over, when our hearts were whole. For some of us, the pain is new and unfamiliar. For others, it’s been there as long as we can remember. For my clients, it’s something that they’ve decided to stop running from and to face it head-on. Whether you’re an individual picking up the pieces of a broken heart, or a couple or family trying to keep your world from falling apart, I’m ready to help you conquer your past. I can help you regain emotional control to breath and feel present and whole again.
I’ve had the privilege of working with incredible mentors who have helped me develop the heart and skills necessary to treat grief, traumas, anxiety, depression and relationship issues. Along with CBT I have additional training in evidence-based approaches such as Emotional Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and Trauma-Focused CBT.
As part of Chenal Family Therapy PLC, I consult with our team of therapists and psychiatrists who specialize in different issues, ensuring that all possible treatment approaches are considered. If we encounter problems outside my areas of expertise, I can provide seamless referrals, including testing and medication management, to get you the help you need.
