Sometimes, for me, it can feel like an impossible act to balance life as a father, husband, son, brother, friend, colleague, and working professional. There are days I feel insufficient, inadequate, guilty, as if I could have done more…or less. There are times I feel like an imposter, like I don’t deserve the things that come my way. I ruminate. What I do know is together we can build a repertoire of mindful techniques, distress tolerance & emotional regulation tools, and interpersonal effectiveness skills to address unpleasantness. We can learn together what to say, how to say it, and do what is effective.
