As an Art Therapist my approach involves the creative process which does not require discussing traumatic events in order to heal. I believe true healing occurs when a strong therapeutic alliance is created, where the client feels seen, heard, and validated. Each client drives the course of their treatment, based on their individual needs.
We will work together in customizing an approach to best facilitate PTSD symptom reduction, behavior change, and improve overall quality of life. As a trauma informed LGBTQ+ therapist, I am committed to walking beside you every step of the way to begin to heal creatively.
