My goal is to provide a supportive atmosphere to help assist in navigating and enhancing your ability to overcome problems, strengthen your relationships, build confidence, and develop a healthy sense of self. Therapy is not a one size fits all and I believe treatment should be individualized based on the client. The therapy approaches that I frequently use are Person-Centered, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Mindfulness, and Strength Based.
I enjoy working with a wide range of clients, from all different backgrounds. My clients include children aged 5+, teens, college students, and adults. I also have experience in high school counseling as I have my School Counseling License. I have a history as a youth softball coach and have years of experience working with athletes.
Counseling can seem scary, to talk to someone you do not know about things that make you uncomfortable, sad, embarrassed, etc. but I would reassure you that this process is here to help you achieve a better life.
