I am a doctoral-level therapist, licensed as a clinical psychologist. I have worked in the mental health field, as a therapist and clinical diagnostician, for several years. I have extensive knowledge in comprehensive psychological evaluations and therapeutic techniques. My education includes: *2011, Ph.D. in clinical and school psychology from Hofstra University, New York. *2007, M.A. in psychology from Hofstra University, New York. *2006, M.S. in Education from University of Rochester, New York. *2004, B.A. in psychology and English (double major) from Covenant College, Georgia.
Psychological evaluations: I carefully choose measures to thoroughly answer the referral question. I can adequately assess for and diagnose: intelligence, mood/emotions, personality, AD/HD, achievement, adaptive functioning, memory, trauma, anger, behavioral problems, psychoticism. Testing concludes with an extensive, professionally written report.
Therapy: I do individual therapy with adults and children, over the age of seven. I specialize in mood disorders, psychotic disorders, at-risk youth and CBT. As a Christian, I am more than willing to speak about spirituality. However, I also have non-spiritual clients and completely respect their views.
