My passion and focus is retraining the brain and nervous system; be it for chronic pain, trauma or helping our kids/partners feel safe. I have found, through over 20 years of exploring what does create a more gentle lived experience, is connecting deeply to ourselves and applying the latest neuroscience techniques to regulate ours and others nervous systems. Though mental health practitioners often help chronic pain patients cope with the stress of their symptoms, they can do much more. We can actually help treat the pain directly with Pain Reprocessing Therapy. Heart is free access for all - tools on Instagram: jeniquiggtherapy.
I have advanced training in PRT. In a nutshell, recent neuroscience breakthroughs show that most chronic pain results from the brain misinterpreting safe messages from the body as if they were dangerous. Together we will retrain the brain to interpret and respond to signals from the body properly, subsequently breaking the cycle of chronic pain.
I couple these powerful tools with deep trauma release and somatic techniques in a gentle, supportive, accepting environment with as much play as we can bring to it! (The brain rewires 60% faster with play;). I work from a deep conviction of social justice in all realms and practice from an anti-racist framework and provide LGBTQIA+ affirming care.

I work with clients who experience chronic pain, a sense that something is missing, and who struggle with parenting. Together we will use mindfulness, targeted re-wiring of the brain and nervous system, as well as guided meditations to make shifts in behaviors and beliefs that are keeping you stuck. Many clients report profound transformation within 8 weeks to 9 months.

I mostly use Trauma Release guided meditations to experience deeply the connection to the most wise parts of yourself and how to heal old wounds. We will also use targeted techniques and mindfulness to re-wire nervous system and automatic brain wirings to give you more flexibility of thought, action and allow feelings to move through you like clouds, rather than embattled in storms.
