I am a Cognitive-Behaviorist with 10+ years experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with a variety of emotional and behavioral needs. I specialize in the treatment of anxiety, depression and anger control problems in children, adolescents and adults. I am also highly experienced in working with inattentive, hyperactive, impulsive and/or oppositional children and adolescents. I also teach stress management interventions and do parent trainings. Finally, I have 10+ years experience doing cognitive, educational and personality assessment for all ages.
I use a variety of techniques to help my clients meet their individual needs. Cognitive and behavioral techniques such as rational emotive behavior therapy, exposure-based therapies, role playing, assertiveness training, and take home assignments, such as activity journals and thought and feeling logs are common components of my practice.
I am an in-network provider for a limited number of insurance plans; as an out-of-network provider I will complete all insurance paperwork necessary in order for clients to get compensated by their insurance companies.
