I am a Licensed Master of Social Work in the State of Michigan with 20 years of experience in outpatient, inpatient and crisis settings. I have experience working with a variety of issues, including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship and career issues. I have provided online counseling services for the past three years.
My speciality has been in the area of anxiety, including performance based anxiety, OCD, and PTSD. I am an EMDR trained therapist and received my training in 2011. This has allowed my to help clients overcome past physical, emotional and sexual abuse.
My counseling style is collaborative. I believe my clients are the "experts" on themselves and that allows then the freedom to be honest with me. Together we create a vision of the changes and goals for their lives. I am a practical results oriented therapist who works hard for my clients success.
