My ideal clients are those that are looking for change. I'm a firm believer in second chances and having a fair chance at life. Someone once gave me as much. My clients tend to struggle with past trauma or PTSD symptoms, ADHD, depression, anxiety, anger issues. I've also worked with children removed from their families, adoptions and separations. My client's goals will be to find hope and begin the healing process. I believe we all are capable of healing and changing the course of our lives!
I have extensive training in trauma and am certified in TF-CBT (an evidence based practice for children dealing with trauma.) I am also a trained EMDR therapist and have experience working with depression, anxiety, ADHD, some OCD and more. I've also assisted with reducing feelings of anger and hopelessness.
Thank you for taking time to read about me! I just want you to know that I take the client/therapist relationship very seriously! If you put your trust in me to help you, I will do my absolute best to try to help you! We all have gone through some rough times and sometimes, it's hard to have hope. Just know that we can find it together!
