As a therapist, I aim to create an emotionally safe and supportive environment where you can be yourself. I also like incorporating humor and laughter in therapy to alleviate fears and foster a sense of safety and trust. My ultimate goal is for you to feel seen, understood, and supported.
I am experienced in and passionate about working with children, students, young adults, healthcare professionals, and those impacted by foster care and adoption. I have additional expertise in ADHD, attachment, grief, and chronic pain. I also have experience as an adjunct professor teaching undergraduate psychology and sociology courses.
My therapy approach values the connection between mind, body, and spirit and how their interactions influence our overall health. Together, we will discuss symptoms, relationships, personal stories, and beliefs holding you back and discover effective strategies and tools to help you manage life's challenges. Ultimately my goal is to work myself out of a job!
