I plan to build a strong therapeutic relationship through trust, creativity, and curiosity, and I am committed to each client's unique set of goals.
Every person has their strengths and areas for improvement, and it is my job to work with clients on finding where these are and to build upon them. Life can be difficult and feel chaotic but everyone has the potential to find their path. Multifamily Teen Group Encino
In our DBT group, we meet with teens & parents for the first half of the session where we teach mindfulness, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and effective communication skills. In the second half of each session, the group splits into two– teens in one & parents in another. This is where we give real life and real time examples of the skills being learned.
