Many people long to be different, but lack that “something” that will make the difference. They feel alone, ashamed, and hopeless. Others are stuck in continuing cycles of pain and feel disconnected from life and love. This doesn’t have to be you. It can be a challenge, but peace, joy, and hope are available to you. There is a way to heal and learn to enjoy life in an ever-deepening way. My goal as a therapist is to help my clients find that "something" that will make the difference, to help them know they are not alone, and to move beyond shame and doubt. In other words, my goal is to help my clients flourish.
My approach is very engaging and experiential, drawing from memory reconsolidation research, attachment theory, and coherence therapy. Ultimately, I’m a person-centered therapist and am willing to start where the client wants to begin, adapting my approach to help my client accomplish their goals.
