As a therapist with a deep passion for working with pre-teens and teens, I understand that the journey through adolescence can be both exciting and challenging. During these formative years, many young people face significant struggles, including behavioral issues, depression, anxiety, trauma, and family dynamics that can feel overwhelming. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where young clients can explore their thoughts and feelings, develop healthy coping strategies, and build resilience.
I use a blend of therapies to meet each client's needs. CBT helps identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts, ACT encourages acceptance and positive change, DBT provides tools for emotional regulation, and Narrative Therapy empowers clients, especially those with trauma, to re-author their life stories, creating narratives that reflect their strengths.
Every young person is unique, and I tailor my approach to fit the specific needs and goals of each client. Whether it's navigating the ups and downs of adolescence, working through past trauma, or improving family relationships, I am committed to helping my clients find the strength within themselves to overcome their challenges.
