Life can be hard and sometimes overwhelming! Life’s challenges may seem difficult to face, and at times, impossible to overcome-especially when you are in the middle of the storm. Feelings of anxiety, sadness, anger, fatigue, fear and isolation, can all be products of those unexpected challenges. Through personal encounters with this thing called life, and through the opportunities I have had to walk alongside others in this journey, I have learned that it’s no fun to do it alone. Facing life’s most difficult challenges sometimes becomes easier when you feel safe enough to share it with someone. My name is Naomi Joyce. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and founder of I AM Solutions Counseling Services.
I AM Solutions strives to create a peaceful, safe, and nonjudgmental environment for individuals, couples, families, and children. I AM Solutions will walk alongside you to identify, process, and resolve the issue. I AM Solutions will be there through the healing process. Although trained in various therapeutic approaches such a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing ( EMDR), Family Systems, and Christian Integration, I Am Solutions takes an eclectic approach to counseling that fits the uniqueness of each client.

Groups
Anger Management
An educational course for males and females. The 10-week course tackles topics like relationship roles, communication skills, triggers, and changing self-defeating behaviors. During the weekly group session, participants learn they cannot always change their external environment, but they can change how they react to it. The participants apply learned skills to their own personal experiences and are encouraged to talk about those experiences. Evidence-based principles and cognitive-based strategies are also used to help the participants understand their current behavior. The focus of the group is to help the participants identify behaviors that keep them from forming and maintaining positive relationships.
